Roderick got new shoes, his so called running pumbas. He is very happy with them.
The central processor for all home networking, production and consumption of digital media. Even better tuned for enhanced performance.
The wheather is still making everything dull and grey. An ideal environment for digital production and consumption.

One of the must visits in Tokyo will be the egocasting places www.manboo.co.jp. According to Reinier one of the first branded egocasters hang-outs.
Of course the opportunity to be on a videophone is never to be discarded. On the left Ed Behrens who is introducing the phone in The Netherlands.
One of the trends he is sharing is 'Generation C', the content generation. This trend fits seamlessly with the egocaster model discussed earlier in the day.
After the break Reinier Evers of www.trendwatching.com shares the latest trends with the audience. His presentation is based on years of research by coolhunters all over the world that spot trends they are emerged in.
The ideas are shared immediately after the session in the break. Different viewpoints are expressed.
Wim van Rooyen, the MD of Media Plaza shares his ideas about what Media Plaza will be for the coming years.
Next to sports it is the Kick-off for Media Plaza's activities for '05.
After broadcasting and discussing ego casting, I travel to Utrecht to see whether we can put people and thought in a grid again.
My trendpredecition for 2005 and following is egocasting. The ultimate cast of the individual that wants to publish. This might create a total cottage industry of applications and content that creates a new digitial surround.
We are being informed that the Japanese economy is a state of recession. Later this year we will try to find out how innovation in media and ict can help Japan to get out of this position.
Always useful to follow the arrows for direction.
The beautiful colour yellow is omnipresent.

From glowtech it is back to low tech at home. Roderick got a 'knutselbox' at kindergarten. It involves a big cardboard box full of things that can be cut out and glued together. Strangely also an automagazine and some other commercial materiaal for the parents.
Glowtech.
A multi cast set up where youngsters can play their self made videos of the skating. Broadcasting, be it broad, narrow or ego-casting bring with them an entire cottage industry that produces digital content.
The fast lane towards the next appointment. Traffic is not too bad so traction can be made.
The big favourites. Having truely impressive content is very useful in the total mix. In fact movies are high upon the list of topics youngsters are interested in.
