Gaming has become more popular again. Since the switch from PC to Mac I had been lagging on the gaming front altogether. Now with the Intel iMac with lots of video-memory, I bought a game again: Quake IV. The little men play java games and they enjoy it a lot too.....

I joined the board of the Crossmediaweek, a large (cross media) event that will take place end of September here in Amsterdam. I met up with them team creating this event and I must say it sounds and looks very interesting indeed. Of course more info and pictures will follow coming months on this new activity I am engaged in.

Arrived today, the ultimate iPod gear, the blackcoat sport from Koyono. Slide in the ipod and of you go in the rain and wind and still be capable of utilising the ipod's controls. Now that is niffty. As soon as the Vespa arrives, the blackcoat sport will be a good companion on the travels through Amsterdam.

The partner introduction of KPN's TV offering 'Mine' took place in Hotel Stroom in Rotterdam. The Hotel had been converted to a DSLAM to be able to serve all the TV streams simultaneously..... Great introduction with very promising propositions.

In line with the MacBook Pro, more shiny metal appears in our home. Finally we sorted the full service delivery chain for the kitchen (buying, transporting, removal of the old stuff, installation) so now we are enjoying the new Boretti and Liebherr units. Both in shiny shiny armour. Let the food begin.....

Bringing the creative and the industry together is a good thing. Despite sometimes apparently different systems, there is lot to be gained when creatives and industry work together, not only can it produce innovation, it is also good fun. Visting the opening of a V2 event in Rotterdam was very worthwhile.

User generated content, conversations rather then broadcasts, care, quality and mashups appear to become part of products. A very welcome addition to todays society and fitting well with the digital developments in new media. I am contemplating starting a 'mashup of the month' both with digital and analog items....

Beating the extended frankwatching.com team in posting pictures of an interesting evening with Microsoft is not easy. Frankwatching came completely tooled to the dinner and only by having less geographical distance to cover, this blogpost...

A very interesting evening indeed in a blogger dinner with Microsoft's Phil Holden, director of Windows Live. Lot's of early insights, open discussion, good company and sofort. Even an MSN voip phone from Philips to fool around with....

In preparation for Blognomics 06 next Thursday, Krijn and I are meeting up with the speakers. Today we met with Jan Marijnissen, the most advanced and influencial politician in The Netherlands, who uses new media to get both his message accross and to create a good report with his voters. An interesting session it was in Studio Marijnssen....next week more in Amsterdam...

In Dutch we have some nuance in the difference between entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial people. The distinction is not that one is lazier or better then the other, but lays in the financial perspective of the individual or organisation. Perhaps too complex for this photolog....

In any event, I visited a well constructed session today with Kennisland's Digitale Pioniers. Syb Groeneveld guided an interesting afternoon with promising projects in the digital creative arena.

Breaking the audio barrier was the final frontier for the moment. By getting myself an iPod Hifi, another airport express with airtunes and an audio-airtunes connectionkit all from the new macbook pro get's transmitted just fine.... the tp with the ipod connector is great to have your audio come straight from the pod itself. Now I need to ensure that I like the all the apple remotes get linked to one device.....
