User generated content, conversations rather then broadcasts, care, quality and mashups appear to become part of products. A very welcome addition to todays society and fitting well with the digital developments in new media. I am contemplating starting a 'mashup of the month' both with digital and analog items....

Queens Day means lots and lots of people nearby at the museum square. Most likely the grass will have to be replaced again.....

Both mainstream and new media have been covering Blognomics 06 extensively. We had two articles on the frontpage of national dailies and lots of posts online.....

Of course the kids liked the exhibition in Teylers museum in Haarlem, but the real surprise and entertainment came when we found that it was 'kermis' in Haarlem too. With lots of exciting things to do.......

Beating the extended frankwatching.com team in posting pictures of an interesting evening with Microsoft is not easy. Frankwatching came completely tooled to the dinner and only by having less geographical distance to cover, this blogpost...

A very interesting evening indeed in a blogger dinner with Microsoft's Phil Holden, director of Windows Live. Lot's of early insights, open discussion, good company and sofort. Even an MSN voip phone from Philips to fool around with....

In preparation for Blognomics 06 next Thursday, Krijn and I are meeting up with the speakers. ING has issued a special credit card for the Dutch Soccer. Today a big Easter activity took place with Teun uit Assen from Radio538 in prime position. Listeners came to try and find eggs that would bring them tickets to the world cup soccer in a few months.

Breaking the audio barrier was the final frontier for the moment. By getting myself an iPod Hifi, another airport express with airtunes and an audio-airtunes connectionkit all from the new macbook pro get's transmitted just fine.... the tp with the ipod connector is great to have your audio come straight from the pod itself. Now I need to ensure that I like the all the apple remotes get linked to one device.....

The arrival of new tools is always an interesting combination of the old en the new. Where the new Macbook Pro (yep challenging name still) is a very fast machine with some nice additions such as the built-in isight, is the real great thing frontrow and the remote control that comes with it. Snazzy.

The Blackberry is a great tool, now with more memory and faster then the previous one I had, but I still need to get used to the dimming of the screen. I still need to convert......

The growth curve of our little man is incredibly (all parents seem to believe this...). Now that he has his own 'Apple' he wants to know all the goodies that come with it. He is mastering the remote control, which one might argue is a straightfoward one and not as complicated as most on the market. Here Roderick is giving his mother a training how to use it with music and video....
