The pictures that I took of the Fleck guys are published in the Dutch financial newspaper FD, great to see my shots published! I should print them more often, I quite like the feel of it.
Thanks to Caro my shooting style and capabilities have improved a lot since, so who knows what might happen next :)

Day 4 of PICNIC07, a true extravaganza of activities with three simultaneous tracks, partner events and game activities.....
Lots of great stuff on day three of PICNIC07. David Weinberger showed us the complexity and levels of media and converstation. In the evening great party with friends and speakers on the water and then at the disco with Uffie and "Man like me"...

A day around town for the boys is always entertaining, especially with the new wide-angle lens... .
Whereas music is still omnipresent (one of the favourite topics with Chris at Mint-condition-hair in the Wolvenstraat) and growing in importance with the audience, record stores (and therefore record companies) seem to be struggling to get buyers for their goodies...

We found the music industry in fighting spirit at Popkomm in Berlin, an extremely interesting combination of music extravaganza and conference.
Not so much the record labels, but the new movements of advertising based music provision such as Spiralfrog or direct from artist delivery seem the new way forward.....The full set of suits, rockers, Apple's, nerds and more.

It was great meeting up with Andrew and Bobbie Dubber before they went back to Birmingham. Andrew is one of the brightest minds in the field of (digital) music with a keen eye to spot what is hot or not. Rarely do you meet people like them where you would like to spend more time with as they are so interesting and nice too ... We'll definitely meet again.

New Media-New Music was the theme for the Veronica Network & Knowledge event '07, an event for Veronica staff and partners. We had Arjen Grolleman moderate a show with great speakers such as Andrew Dubber, Hans Veldhuizen, Peter Contant, Jeroen Bouwman Rob van Someren and two short sets by Charlie Dee a Dutch singer/songwriter. After the programme that was set up as a live radio show, there was ample opportunity to mingle... A great job done by all the people involved.

Emerce eDay was interesting from many angles. One of them was the gathering of the Dutch iPhone club... All with fully functioning Apple iPhones.
During the day many other gadgets and concepts were on display...

Two shootings today, one with a pro and one without, both good fun... I am thinking about getting a second body, just to be able to faster and to avoid changing lenses all the time...
Great party in the harbour of Rotterdam tonight with many international stars performing at the river Maas...

Having received strict deadlines for the aperture setting lesson, I had to go out and shoot from wide-open to pinhole. The results can be found at this flickr set.
Whilst waiting for our friends, Roderick shared his knowledge on Pokemon with us, which I shot wide-open, my own preferred way....

With only a few weeks to go for PICNIC07 we had a 'buzz event' announcing the full programme, the green challenge details and much more. A great group of creative and business people got together to get the info and share things for the events to come...
