In Amsterdam the weather was great and all the activities created a crowded lolapaloza full of fun. This year the city authorities have provided enormous quantities of toilets. I have never seen so many in my live... The full set is here. Unfortunately the great atmosphere of Queensday was overshadowed by the terrible things in Apeldoorn.

The analog/digital/online worlds come now in hybrid formats. First of all I got the special edition of the new U2 ablum: no line on the horizon. I comes with a great book with pictures of Anton Corbijn, the music on CD and a link to a download of the movie Anton Corbijn made for this album. Unfortunately I cannot get this to work.... a real pity....
Secondly I bought Guy Ritchie's Rocknrolla. An action packed blue ray that looks and sounds very impressive indeed. You get a code to a digital download of the movie too. Unfortunately Windows only.... What a missed change...
So yes I added some great new media, but no, I am not able to get everything right in one go....

A very inspiring Veronica Vday. Over 150 people got together to discuss cooperation, innovation and creativity. Pioneers, young talent, entrepreneurs, radio makers etc discussed many themes and were entertained by very good music. The full set is here.

Last week the Swedish courts gave their conclusion to the Pirate Bay case. Yesterday we discussed the impact of the case on digital content and digital content with a group of experts at De Balie. The overall conclusion is that rights to digital content will remain a complex system for some years to come, but in the end the advantages of all the new technology will create more business and opportunities...

I am back from a great weekend @ Paaspop, the first festival of the season. Kinkfm was broadcasting live and shared the music and musicians with the rest of The Netherlands. We gave away green hats with our logo...

A very interesting evening indeed at IPAN with many experts on the challenges of digital content. Sports and music, creative commons and full rights... the need for a button comparable with 'buy now' for paying and licensing of video, music and other content would be a great invention. A week before Easter we have the procession where kids make their Easter Palm sticks and bring those to senior citizens. We the fantastic weather of today, it was one big party.
