After the unconference of Kinnernet09, today we had a very interesting conference day at Com.vention the Internet and Media conference organised by TheMarker. One of the highlights was the session with Brad Templeton of Electronic Frontier Foundation and Joi Ito of Creative Commons. Two people who put their time and effort in helping to change the digital landscape.

A great set of days at the see of Galileo @kinnernet, the unconference where media and technology meet. The pictures will follow when I am back in Amsterdam. Tomorrow it is off to the interesting media and tech conference Comvention in Tel Aviv.

My little boy became 8 today. A big step... Not only did he get his own guitar, but we also went to see the premiere of the movie Monsters vs. Aliens, a fantastic 3-D feature film. You have to watch it with special glasses, but it was amazing.... in the next the decade the glasses will go an 3-D will be what 2-D has been sofar...

Meeting up with Han Gerrits of Innovation Factory, chairman of the Advisory board of IPAN. Han is a very intelligent and connected innovator and pioneer. Always interesting to discuss matters with him. Secondly his office has a great view of Amsterdam...

At Veronica we want to give young talent the opportunity to develop their talents. We do this at V-Academy, Kinkfm, Veronica Story and the Medialab. The latter two have their interns day today.

Today the jury got together for the "Show your love for Amsterdam!" photo contest. Hundreds of pictures were sent in, at Flickr and Mobypicture. Difficult to choose the final ones...
