Due to a general strike in Israel today we had only few hours to get an alternative route before getting trapped. Luckily Marc Goldberg of Occam Capital made sure that we found a solution flying out of Amman airport in Jordan. It did take though an extensive trip through Israel and Jordan to get there....

Whilst we were in a 'you only see this in a movie ' taxi ride through Jordan, I won the Dutchbloggies award for best photoblog. As I was thousands of kilometers away, Krijn Schuurman, my partner with whom I organise Blognomics, accepted the award for me and I'll hope of course to see it soon in real life :)
